Delta Aquariid Meteor Shower

The Southern Delta Aquariid Meteor Shower peaks on the night of July 30 with around 20 meteors per hour, best viewed from the southern tropics. The source is Comet 96P/Machholz. The shower overlaps with the early Perseid stream, so late July nights often deliver meteors from both.
