Asian Games 2026

The 20th Asian Games come to Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, bringing together around 15,000 athletes from 45 nations across 43 sports at 53 venues in and around Nagoya. For the first time since the Games were postponed by COVID-19, the competition returns to its traditional four-year cycle — and Japan hosts for only the third time in history, following Tokyo in 1958 and Hiroshima in 1994. New sports including freestyle BMX, mixed martial arts, padel, surfing, and teqball make their Asian Games debut, while the official motto "Imagine One Asia" sets the tone for 16 days of elite multi-sport competition.
