Partial Lunar Eclipse

A Partial Lunar Eclipse happens when only part of the Moon passes through Earth's darkest shadow (umbra). The covered portion takes on a deep red-brown hue while the rest stays brightly lit — the curved edge of Earth's shadow is clearly visible across the lunar surface.
