Global Accessibility Awareness Day

Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) is observed on the third Thursday of May each year, bringing the world together to talk, think, and learn about digital access and inclusion for the more than one billion people living with disabilities. Founded in 2012 by Joe Devon and Jennison Asuncion, GAAD has grown into a worldwide movement with events across six continents, encouraging developers, designers, and organisations to make the web more accessible for everyone.
